flashtramp® - What is it?
How it works
The flashtramp® lighting units, installed inside the new wing lamellas, generate light pulses. The required energy is generated by jumping by the users themselves.
This is done via „Micro Energy Harvesting“. An external power supply, batteries, acomplex dynamo systems etc. are not required.
Energy harvesting is based on the generator principle. A magnet in a coil is set in motion by jumping on the jumping mat. This kinetic energy is converted into
electrical energy by induction – and thus lights up the highperformance LEDs in the modules. Another advantage of this system is that it does not require any control elements that are prone to failure, such as microprocessors or similar electronic components.
The flashtramp® lighting unit is a maintenance-free, environmentally friendly, cost-effective and safe play element.
Particularly when combined with our colorful motif jumping mats, the light modules produce impressive effects that enhance play value!
Play value
The users receive direct, visible feedback from their individual jumping behavior. The motivation arises to make the built in flashtramp® modules light up by jumping. The stronger they jump the brighter the lighting effect. This helps develop coordination and motor skills, resulting in a significantly higher incentive to play on the equipment and to move even more.
