Predetermined jumping direction
Combinations with predetermined jumping direction
According to DIN, an extent of the falling space of 3.00 m is required in the jumping direction for a „predetermined outward jumping direction“.
If the arrangement is in a row with three or more individual devices(colortramp® triple-fun S), a predetermined outward jumping direction can be assumed for the first and last element. The same applies if pointed endings of a combination tend to suggest an outward jump (modutramp® crossover).
Self-contained combinations without predetermined jumping direction
A square or circular arrangement (colortramp® mega-fun S or modutramp® circle 60 / modutramp® circle 90) or a self-contained shape (modutramp® loop) does not necessarily specify an outward jumping direction. Instead, users jump within the entire group of devices, which means that the falling area is 2.00 m all around the perimeter of the jumping area (jumping area ≥ 1.44 m²).
